Is there a food and beverage minimum?
No. That is the single biggest reason companies leave hotels for this building. No minimum, no approved caterer list, no per head spend you have to hit before the room is yours. Bring the caterer your office already likes, trays from a restaurant, or park a food truck in the back garage. The venue fee is the venue fee.
What does it cost, exactly?
Sunday to Thursday is $1,750 flat for six hours in the Main Hall, up to 120 guests, bartender and security guard included. Two rooms, up to 250, is $2,650. The whole building, up to 300, is $3,550. An extra hour with guests in the building is $350, and that already pays the bartender, the guard and the manager. A setup hour with no guests is $250. Fridays start at $1,950. If there is no bar and it is a Monday to Thursday, book by the hour instead: $250 an hour for the Main Hall plus $200 cleaning, two hour minimum. Every number is on the rates page.
How does alcohol work?
You bring the bottles and our licensed bartender serves them. Hard liquor is welcome. There is no per guest alcohol fee; bar service is inside the package. Nothing can be sold, so no cash bar and no drink tickets for money. You provide a Washington banquet permit and we walk you through it.
What is already in the room for presentations?
A Mackie sound system with subwoofers, a 110 inch display you plug your laptop into, a DJ booth, high speed WiFi, and a dressing room that doubles as a green room for speakers. Eighty chairs, four round tables and two six foot tables come with the building.
Where do people park, and how does load in work?
Free street parking in the area, paid lots nearby, and four private spots on site. Load in is through the roll up door at the back, big enough for a vehicle or a food truck. Full parking info goes out once you are booked.
What if our headcount changes?
The price is by rooms, not by head. Ninety people or one hundred twenty in the Main Hall is the same $1,750. Past 120, open a second room.
Is the building accessible?
The Main Hall and the Back Venue are at street level, with a roll up door at the back. The Speakeasy upstairs is reached by stairs only; there is no elevator. If anyone on your list needs step free access, plan the bar and the program downstairs and we will set it up that way.

Tell us early what your company needs. Booking is a signed agreement plus a 50% deposit, paid through a link we send, so nobody hands a card over the phone. Invoices and a W9 on request.
