Exactly what you get

What The Hourly Rate Includes, And What It Does Not

  • Mackie sound with subwoofers and the DJ booth

  • High speed WiFi
  • The dressing room and green room
  • A prep area with a counter and sink

Not on the hourly card

  • A bartender or a bar. Hourly is dry, or beer and wine you pour yourselves with a Washington banquet permit. Hard liquor, or anyone behind a bar, is a package.
  • Cleaning, which is added by footprint: $200, $300 or $400.
  • Security, which is only required if you run past 10pm: $55 an hour per room.

Hourly questions

What People Ask Before They Book

What does the hourly rate cost?

The Main Hall is $250 an hour, two rooms is $350, the whole building is $450, plus cleaning of $200, $300 or $400 by footprint. Two hour minimum. There is no service charge.

Which days can I book by the hour?

Monday to Thursday, any time of day. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are packages only, even when the event is dry.

Can we have alcohol at an hourly booking?

Beer and wine you pour yourselves, with a Washington banquet permit that we walk you through. There is no bar and no bartender on an hourly booking. Hard liquor, or anyone behind a bar, means a package. Nothing can be sold.

Can a pop up sell to people walking by?

Yes. Open the doors and sell your products to anyone who walks in off 1st Avenue South. What we do not host is ticketed events or a cover charge at the door, and alcohol is never sold.

Do we need security?

Only if you run past 10pm. Then a guard is $55 an hour per room, booked through us.

Can we come early to set up?

No early access. The time you book is when the studio manager arrives, so book your setup hours as part of the booking. The flat $250 setup hour is a package add on. Setup hours are only for time with no guests in the building. Any hour with guests is a staffed hour.

What if we run long?

On an hourly booking, overtime bills in one hour increments at one and a half times your hourly rate, so if you think you might run long, adding the hour upfront is the cheaper move. Everything ends by 2am.

Can we load in a lot of gear?

Yes. Load in is through the roll up door at the back, big enough for a vehicle. There are four private parking spots on site. You can bring your own furniture and rentals; everything goes out by the end of your booking.

Are pets allowed at a shoot?

Yes. We have hosted everything from puppy yoga to full concerts. Tell us when you book.
