These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at 1712studios.com (the "Site"), and any communications, forms, and services offered by GB Open Space LLC, doing business as 1712 Studios ("we," "us," or "our"), an event venue located at 1712 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134. By using the Site, contacting us, requesting a tour, or signing up to receive messages from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
The Site and our services are intended for adults age 18 and older. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Site on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
The Site lets you learn about our venue, submit event inquiries, and request tours. Submitting an inquiry or requesting a tour does not create a confirmed reservation. A booking is confirmed only when we provide written confirmation and you complete any required signed rental agreement and deposit. All bookings are subject to our separate venue rental agreement, which controls pricing, deposits, cancellations, refunds, conduct, and other event terms. Rates, availability, and offers shown on the Site may change without notice.
This is the 1712 Studios Booking Assistant text messaging program, operated by GB Open Space LLC.
By providing your mobile phone number to 1712 Studios and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from us at that number. This section, together with our Privacy Policy, governs our text messaging program.

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, layouts, and the "1712 Studios" name and marks, are owned by or licensed to 1712 Studios and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services that we do not control, including booking, payment, analytics, and advertising providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.
The Site and our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current. Pricing, availability, and event details are subject to confirmation and change.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1712 Studios and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, our communications, or your inability to use them. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Liability arising from a booked event is governed by the separate venue rental agreement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1712 Studios and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
